Facilitating Team Meetings Workshop (one day)

Learn how to:

  3. Facilitate group discussion effectively
  4. Facilitate brainstorming and analysis of various options
  5. Facilitate final decision-making using several decision-making methods and tools
  6. Manage different types of challenging behavior

Team Building Workshop (onel day)

This session can be attended by one or more intact teams. In this session, participants work together on a number of team-based challenges (untie a knotted rope blindfolded, build a spaghetti tower) and then analyze:

  1. Their decision-making processes
  2. Their communication processes
  3. Leadership of both the task and the people
  4. The team’s overall effectiveness

Team members then examine how their team dynamics exhibited during these challenges reflect their team dynamics back at work. Finally, teams identify several strategies to employ back at work to enhance their overall effectiveness as teams.

Team Development for Leaders Workshop

This is a two day “hands-on” intensive course for leaders. It includes both conceptual and highly practical material so that leaders have a keen understanding of group dynamics as well as the tools to manage these dynamics as they occur. The course will help leaders learn:

  2. How to employ situational leadership effectively
  3. The importance of group roles
  4. The stages of group development and their instrumental and interpersonal challenges
